Women Leading Together Workshop

There is much publicity about barriers to women’s career advancement but how do we overcome them?

  • We need to communicate our accomplishments to be recognized, but it feels like bragging.
  • We get frustrated at not being heard, so how do we gain support for our requests?

Raise your confidence level as you learn two skills to get what you want for your career.  Join a community of women in a supportive environment where you will learn to:

  •  Comfortably communicate your accomplishments in a way that identifies your value and gains visibility. 
  • Effectively make your business case, directly and rationally, to gain support for your requests.

Format:  Full day in-person workshop with option to register on day of the workshop for three hours of follow up group coaching.

  • Price:  $449 for all paid member levels; $499 for professional members or non members
  • Early bird Discount:  $100 off  if you register before March 10

About Susan Hodge

Susan is an experienced financial executive and Certified Professional Coach who has led global organizations with a passion for diversity and developing people.  As a former Treasurer of Shell Oil and VP of an international group within Royal Dutch Shell, Susan has led global teams in virtual and multicultural environments. In 2012 Susan combined her passions and experience to form Women Leading Together LLC where she creates and delivers workshops to help career women break down barriers to advancement, identify their unique capabilities and develop the skills they need for a fulfilling career.

Susan teaches leadership in the business school of the University of Houston Downtown.  She speaks at conferences on leadership topics including career advancement for women, learning from failure and leading through change.  She has developed leadership courses for mid to senior level managers and has been instrumental in shaping and implementing effective mentoring programs for diversity networks and functional groups.

Susan has a BS degree in Accounting from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.  She has been recognized by Texas Executive Women as a "Woman on the Move" for her leadership and community service and by The Diversity Journal as a "Woman Worth Watching".
